If YOU work in a labouring occupation, you now need the ‘Health and Safety in a Construction Environment’ Award. Achievement of this award will demonstrate that you have the necessary understanding of key issues affecting safe working practices on UK construction sites.

The 'Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment' qualification is for individuals wishing to apply for the Construction Skills Certification Scheme Green Card to access construction sites in the UK as a non-skilled worker.

Level 1 Award In Health and Safety in a Construction Environment

Type: Credit based qualification; This is a categorisation to help define qualification attributes e.g. type of assessment

  • Credits: 4 Credits are a measure of the size of the qualification

  • Guided Learning Hours: 40 This is the average contact time a centre would typically commit
